First Responder Counseling & Support Services

Confidential, Experienced, and Culturally Competent Care for Those Who Serve

First responders—including police officers, firefighters, EMTs, dispatchers, and correctional staff—are regularly exposed to high-stress environments, trauma, and intense emotional demands. While these roles are vital to community safety and wellbeing, they often come at a personal cost to mental health.

I offer specialized in person and telehealth counseling for first responders throughout Massachusetts. With over 20 years of clinical experience, including extensive work with First Responders and professionals in high-stakes settings, I understand the unique pressures and culture of frontline service work.

Areas of Support

I work with first responders on a range of concerns, including:

  • Critical incident stress and trauma exposure

  • Cumulative stress and burnout

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Sleep disturbance and hypervigilance

  • Career transitions and retirement adjustment

  • Relationship strain due to work stress

  • Substance use concerns

Sessions are confidential, nonjudgmental, and tailored to the specific needs of each client. My approach is practical, supportive, and rooted in evidence-based methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
